If you are looking for the best atmosphere in a restaurant in Abbeville, then the Riverfront Restaurant on the Vermilion River is the place to go. On nice days, the outdoor patio/deck facing the river is the place to be to simply eat or relax with a few drinks. The large windows of the dining room provide a nice view of the river, and from the bar, you can view the outdoor patio/deck. Their large banquet room has a view of the river as well, and hosts many wedding parties and business groups. It is also common to see boats docking at the restaurant for lunch or dinner.

The managers and most of the staff are friendly and professional, but are not as friendly as the staff at Dupuy's. The daily specials are reasonably priced and are popular with the customers. The Tuesday special is a 10oz. Ribeye that is one of the best small steaks in the area. Beyond that, some of their dishes are unpredictable and their po-boys are not as good as those at Dupuy's. Beyond that, we don't have enough feedback to judge the food there.
